11. Can meat be purchased by the pound, but inventoried by each piece?
 

Yes, meat can be purchased by the pound and counted by each cut of meat. In the inventory record there is a section where you define the counting unit of measure, and you will find a box that says "Each". Click on "Each" and a screen will pop up asking you to enter the Ounces of "Each" piece of meat. Enter the ounces and click "OK". Now when you print your inventory count forms the meat will show up with the proper price for each piece. This alleviates the manual calculation of pounds to each.
