17. How is overtime calculated for hourly employees?
 

Cimarron BackOfficePlus allows management to set the appropriate overtime rate for each individual employee. In the company record you can set a default Overtime Rate calculation, however, you may override this calculation in each individual Personnel Record if necessary. This is important when a formula is used to calculate overtime paid to service staff, for example. In order to enter the overtime rate, you must go to the Personnel Record for each employee and physically type the non- standard rate into the Job Code box O/T Rate section.
