5. What is the Data File for?
 

The Data File contains your restaurant's back office data. Your Data File is very important because it is the record of all entries and calculations made in the BackOfficePlus program. Please Note: It is imperative that you ALWAYS make a daily back up of this file. It is recommended that you alternate multiple disks for backing up your data file. In the event that one disk becomes corrupted you still have another disk, with a recent copy of your current data file. If backups are not being made, and your data file is lost or corrupted, the only solution often available is manual re-creation of the lost information.
